Industrial Minerals

Minerals historically have been referred to as fillers and extenders, by definition, fill and extend resins to reduce the cost of the resin. In todays Market place, function, but not price, is the key selection criterion of mineral products. Minerals are essential formulating ingredients for the production of polymer composites.

Mineral consists of two broad classifications: commodity minerals and specialty minerals. Generally, commodity minerals are used to reduce the cost of resin, while specialty minerals are used where function of performance is a factor and the pricing is high. Some minerals have inherent specialty. Calcium carbonate, talc, and mica are minerals with aspect rational particle shape which is defined as the ratio of length to width or length to thickness. This particle shape translates into reinforcement and improved mechanical properties in polymer composites.

We manufacture the minerals that meet the international quality standards.
